IFGTB conducting Walk in for nine JRF post in various streams of Life Science


Walk-in-interviews are proposed to be conducted to recruit Junior Research Fellows and Field Assistants for the research projects at Institute of Forest Genetics & Tree Breeding, Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), as scheduled below:

Current vacancy:-

  • Post : JRF
  • No of Posts : 09
  • Essential Qualification :
    • 1st Class Master Degree in the following disciplines : Forestry /Botany / Plant Sciences/ Biotechnology /Bio-Chemistry/ Microbiology/Microbial Biotechnology/ Gene Technology/Genomics/ Agricultural Microbiology/Environmental Sciences.
  • Desirable : Please see the Institute's website for project-wise desirable requirement.
  • Emoluments : Rs.12,000/- p.m

  • Age : 28 years as on 15th November, 2011 (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates).

  •  Age limit is 28 years as on 15th November, 2011 (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates).
  • Candidates should submit their application downloaded from the website of this Institute, in person on the date of interview from 08.00 AM to 10.00 AM. Applications submitted after 10.00 AM on the date of interview will not be entertained.
  • Emoluments: As mentioned against each project.
  • The positions are temporary and co-terminus with the project.
  • Candidates are advised to bring the bio-data duly filled in as per the prescribed format which can be downloaded from the website addresshttp://ifgtb.icfre.gov.in
  • Candidates desirous of attending the walk-in-interview should bring original testimonials on educational qualifications and community certificate for verification. Attested copies of the same are to be attached with the bio-data form while appearing for the interview. Candidates without Provisional Certificate/Degree Certificate awarded by the Universities need not attend the interview.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for participating in the interview.
