The department offers courses like B.Tech., M.Tech. (Biotechnology) & M. Tech. (Bioinformatics). We are the first In UPTU to introduce M.Tech. Bioinformatics in 2009. MIET Biotechnology Laboratories are well equipped with state of the art facilities for conducting modern research. The department has highly qualified and experienced faculty members Who along with students are actively involved in various academic and research projects for the coninuous development in the field of Biotechnology.
