SCFBIO , IIT Delhi intends to start training/Workshop Programmes in Bioinformatics and Computational
Biology from 4th July, 2011 onwards.


1) Topics for the training/Workshop Programme are proposed to be covered with hands–on
      training/Workshop in the following four modules:–

1. Genome analysis
2. Protein Folding
3. Drug Design
4. High performance computing in Bioinformatics.

2) Duration of Training/Workshop:-

      The training/Workshop programme for each module is proposed to be conducted for two days, and
     the entire set of modules mentioned above will be completed in a week's time(from 9 am
     to 5 pm everyday) from July onwards. Participants can opt for any number of modules.

      Following are the tentative schedule for the batches

• 1^st  batch: 4^thJuly, 2011 to 10^thJuly, 2011
• 2^nd batch: 12^thJuly, 2011 to 18^thJuly, 2011
• 3^rd  batch: 19^thJuly, 2011 to 25^thJuly, 2011

3) Eligibility :-

      B.Sc/B.Tech./M.Sc./M.Tech./Ph.D Students and professionals from Biotech and Pharma industries.

4) Maximum no of students :- 25 per batch

5) Fee :- Rs 2500 per module. (Rs 6500/- for three or more modules)

6) *Accommodation :- Limited accommodation is available for the out station students on first come
     first served basis.

      Registrants will be awarded certificates at the end of successful completion of each module.
