About the workshop
The training is primarily targeted towards
Teachers and/ or Scientists and a limited
number of Ph.D / final year M.Sc. / M.Tech /
B.Tech students to acquaint them with the
frontier areas of following topics.
 Biological database
 Sequence analysis
 Molecular modeling & drug designing
 Genomics
 Proteomics
 Metabolomics
Venue: Department of Biotechnology and
Computer & Informatics Centre
Registration fees: Rs.1500/-. (Includes
working lunch)
Accommodation: An accommodation for the
participants is being arranged in our campus
guest house on spot cash payment basis (see
application form)

along with registration fees (payable by demand
draft to CEP-STC, IITKGP drawn on any bank
at Kharagpur) on or before by September 01,
